Katherine Carbone is a Dancer, Visual Artist, Reiki Healer, Yoga Instructor and Certified Dancemeditation Teacher. A graduate of Brown University with Professional Training in Expressive Arts Facilitating from Salve University, she co-directs "Present Moment Arts Center", a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the creative and healing arts. Katherine's healing work in dance and art reflects her extensive training in Middle Eastern and Afro-Caribbean Dance traditions. She has taught and performed at numerous community sponsored venues in New York City and Rhode Island including Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Miranda Theater, 5BC Cultural Center, Dancespace Project and the Avenue B Garden. She teaches in Rhode Island and the nearby region.
