Using the pelvis as painter & receptor, we devote attention to refined, subtle exploration of the pelvic cavity and its contents. The rich traditional movement vocabulary of Middle Eastern dance here emphasizes release and illumination of this often shadowy seat of our power. We excavate through sensation, dancerly imagery, rhythm, texture, vibration and breath to discover more about pelvic voice.
