It is encouraged to wear that which inspires, delights, simply amuses, or ignites a part of yourself you’d like to bring into this year. Masks and costumes have been used as mediums of expression and transformation in nearly every culture throughout history. Through the act of embellishing or “losing” our own identity—we open to being reinvented, renewed, and transformed.
Dressing rooms, skirts, tapestries, wigs, masks, costumes, and face paints available on first inspired by, first adorned with basis. You are also invited to take the “revolve” theme even further: by bringing clothing or items of adornment that do not currently inspire you…as offerings to others whom they may ignite--for keeps, for the evening, or for a time and ask for it to spiral back to you in the future.
